2015년 CES SHOW에서 Verizon 으로 공급하기로 한 Package Design(Model : MHS800L) Giftbox 협의를 위한 포장업체(상원포장/청주소재) 대표님과 같이 동행 Lasvegas행 출장에 폭스디자인이 동행을 했다. 본 프로젝은 해외생산기기(콴타 / 중국상해소재)에 납품하는 품질기준을 논의하고 한도기준을 협의하기 위한 출장으로 생산책임을 맡고있는 포장생산업체 대표와 동행을 했다. 센프란시스코에서 라스베거스까지 출장기다. 차로 이동해도 되지만,시간이 너무 걸린다. Southwest 국내항공편으로 이동했다.
EMS(Electronics Manufacturing Service)로 중국현지생산을 하는 제품에 Package는 국내생산을 결정. 협의과정이다.
Trip to Las Vegas for the 2015 CES SHOW
Foxdesign accompanied the representative of the packaging company (Sangwon Packaging/Cheongju-based) to discuss the Package Design (Model: MHS800L) Giftbox to be supplied to Verizon. This project involved a business trip to discuss and negotiate quality standards and tolerance criteria for overseas production equipment (Quanta / based in Shanghai, China). The representative of the packaging production company, responsible for production, accompanied us on this trip. The business trip was from San Francisco to Las Vegas. Although traveling by car was an option, it would take too much time, so we took a domestic flight with Southwest Airlines. The package for the product, which is manufactured in China as an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Service), was decided to be produced domestically. This was part of the negotiation process.

상원표장 대표와 도착 후 저녁을 함께한 라스베이거스의 김치레스토랑에서 식사를 함께했다. CES를 참관하는 한국인의 경우 참관 기간 중에 한번은 들리는 명소다.. CES전시를 참관하다 보면 사실 식사를 제대로 하기 쉽지않다.짧은 일정을 소화하는 과정에 업무협의와 결정사항들이 마무리되면 그 후 식사를 하는 장소로 많이 찾고 같이 식사를 하면서 업무를 마무리하는 장소로도 유명하다. 한국인들에겐 라스베서기스의 핫 플레이스로 통한다.
